I am a BAFTA WINNING, Grierson Nominated and multi award-winning Producer/ Director who has delivered films for broadcasters and streamers including Netflix, BBC, Channel 4, Sundance and ITV.

A number of my films are ideas I originated and sold. I have also Executive Produced a number of projects but my focus and passion is directing.I am passionate about films that combine creative and ambitious visuals with intimate, delicate, and revealing storytelling. I love crafting stunning set piece interviews, but also believe self-shot observational scenes can bring out the depth and complexity of characters in extraordinary situations.

My recent four-part series The Flight Attendant Murders, is both a rich visual tapestry of 1970s iconography combined with sensitively led, intimate interviews, and has been broadcast all over the globe. My recent single film, Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family – has recently been nominated for a BAFTA.

I pride myself of my ability to gain and maintain access to sensitive institutions and contributors. I also have strong interviewing skills, and I always aim to create a space that is probing and revelatory. I am also a skilled and creative shooter and own a full FS7 Mark II kit including mics and prime lenses.

I am passionate about making beautiful engaging films. I love self-shooting but also have extensive experience working with DOPs, international crews, and archives. I am a very confident shooter usually working with the FX9, FS7 etc but comfortable with a range of cameras.

My filming style is creative and adaptable. I have my own kit with prime lenses, sound and lighting. Read Less
