I want to gain more experience with the aim of getting more editing opportunities and responsibilities within productions. Outside of broadcast, I edit short form drama and features, including the BFI funded short film ‘A Different Place’ and more recently the short film ‘From A to Q’ which was broadcasted on Channel 4 as part of the Iris Prize LGBTQIA+ series and is now available to stream on All4. My main goal is to get more first assistant editor roles with the aim of moving into assembly editing and then editing full time.

Emmalie worked as my assistant on a feature film and I found her to be keen, knowledgable and resourceful. She managed to solve a problem with corrupt files when I was working in Ireland and she was in London. She was asked to cut both blooper reels and behind the scenes material and did well with both assignments. I recommend her as an assistant. I know she is keen to get more work as an editor and am sure she will find something soon.
