I am an enthusiastic, energetic and personable multi-skilled AP/Producer based in Bristol and excited to workd in other regions. I have a strong background in unscripted production (factual, factual entertainment, documentary, consumer and quiz productions) and enjoy all genres as a way to inform, entertain and educate!
Over the last 14 years I have gained experience working with and leading teams, developing programme ideas, casting, organising shoots, contributors and permissions (both in the UK and abroad), researching editorial content, recording sound, self-shooting (C300 and FS7), sourcing archive, writing scripts and quiz questions, and producing quiz and factual content.
I enjoy working with crew, talent and members of the public and build strong, trusting relationships with contributors and institutions. I can work flexibly - from home, in the office and studio in Bristol, London or wherever I may need to be - and work well solo, as part of a team, or as leader of a team.
I also have a love of film and enjoy engaging with the subject from a historical and geographical context through my podcast (Kvikmyndapod: An Icelandic Cinema Podcast) which I research, produce, host and edit. Podcasting is an area I wish to develop and continue with in my media career. Read Less
