COUNTRY STRIFE - ABZ ON THE FARM (ob doc for BBC2) was critically acclaimed for its flair and story-telling, as were specialist factual films for BBC 4 HOW THE WILD WEST WAS WON WITH RAY MEARS (history/wildlife) and MOZART'S MISSING MANUSCRIPT (music/history).
I've worked with on-screen talent - Ray Mears, Stephen Fry and Julia Bradbury and also many sensitive access films.
I began my career as a journalist in print and popular factual/consumer programmes and am able to research, analyse and visualise a diverse range of subjects - appropriate to the register of the genre. My films are driven by engaging characters and are told with warmth and clarity. I value collaboration and working in friendly teams.
