I'm a wildlife cinematographer with upcoming availability for 2024. With 10+ years experience in TV broadcast, I can be hired with or without kit and I am based in Cardiff, UK. My showreel, CV and Kit info can all be found here -

I have experience in filming in hot enviroments, having filmed in the Sahara Desert, Costa Rica hiking trails, Panama island jungles, Serengetti savannah, Congo and Gabon jungle basins, South Africa, across Sri Lanka and inner cities of India.
I've recently completed a camera contract with Countryfile and in the UK I often operate on Coast and Country filming rural stories across Wales, work with indies on obdoc content with a lean towards wildlife stories where possible and I have provided regular content to BBC Springwatch, Winterwatch and Autumnwatch including working as a drone op and filming a mindfullness moment on my home patch.
For the past 4 years. I have followed international moves of endangered species from UK to various regions of Africa (Congo, Gabon, SA, Tanzania) - to include gorilla, cheetah and African painted dogs.
Filming with gorilla in the Congo I have had experience of learning communication and behaviours with semi habituated juveniles due to be released into the wild.
During 2022 I spent some time in the Panama jungle filming red frog and sloth and filmed 50 episodes for a childrens TV series across the British countryside.
I also film volunteering projects, both people and wildlife, across the globe, recently returning from India.
I have had mentoring support via the Emerging Talent Scheme with Wildscreen. I am an active member of the Wildlife Camerawomen Community where I have trained 11 aspiring camerawomen in using RED and Sony cameras for wildlife.
I have personal kit that I can be hired with, cameras are: RED Komodo Sony A7Siii Sony FS7 With a range of lenses, sound and lighting kits. I can shoot sync. I have a GVC qith A2 CofC and a Mavic Pro 2 Zoom and Mavic Mini 2
I have worked with RED Weapon Helium, Arri Alexa 35, Z Cam and a range of crash cam to high end camera systems. I am confident in using new grip, cameras and kit with a good understanding of ensuring gear is robust enough, with back up systems for in the field filming.
