GENERAL OVERVIEW Experienced Senior Casting, and Development Producer, with a specialism in casting tricky access projects, and finding the right expert talent for new productions from barristers to therapists. I'm often brought onboard to design and set up casting processes and compliance processes for first series, including working with children, families and complex subject matter, from medical, and legal to parenting and therapy. I have a background as a print journalist, a law degree, and 20 years experience at producer level and above. DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER (inc Forward Planning) - Experienced Snr Producer/Producer in Develpment, having recently worked for 15 months on Morning Live researching, planning their short film consumer and current affairs content, finding and standing up stories, casting, handling compliance, before handing to the PD to shoot. I've worked as a Snr Development Producer at multiple companies including a 2 years stint where I led on access, securing several returnable series in the medical and crime space.
EDIT PRODUCER EXPERIENCE - I have cut 1 hour, 45 mins and 30 min series for Channel 4, E4, BBC 3, ITV and MTV.
PD/STORY PRODUCER - From First Dates to a series about the sale of high end property in London, a presenter led food competition series and a series about luxury hotels. I'm a confident interviewer and know how to get to the heart of a story as well as map out processes for the story team to produce the best content, and provide thorough notes to help guide the edit.
