With over 6 years experience in documentary and fiction development, production, and distribution, I am a confident and resourceful researcher and AP with a working understanding of every part of the filmmaking process. I have a background in fiction film and TV: writing/directing several shorts, script reading for the BFI Film Fund, and working in development and distribution for several years in London. 

I have a keen eye for story and particular skills in researching complex topics, writing treatments, setting up and producing shoots, and developing relationships with contributors and key stakeholders.

I’m a confident self-shooter on Sony (FX6, FS7/FX9) and Canon (C300) cameras with a lot of experience working with children and some experience with sensitive material and investigative access. I hold an MA in Directing Documentary from the National Film and Television School.

Originally from Chicago and Genoa, I have a global perspective, bilingual in Italian and English, and with the right to work in EU, UK, and USA.
