Read MoreI have worked as a freelance Researcher and Assistant Producer with BBC Teach. I am also an experienced Casting Assistant and Script Consultant, who can successfully pitch ideas and produce creative briefs and proposals for film and theatre projects. I was commissioned by CultureNL to research and write a fact-based historical theatre piece on the Women's Suffrage Movement in Scotland. My play called "Hard Fought Victory" has toured schools for International Women's Day events.
I wrote and produced theatre play Home Body which debuted at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024 to a sold out audience.
An effective team player, I regularly communicate collaboratively with Writers, Directors and Producers. I have written and produced short films. I wrote award-winning film “Santa’s Grotty.” I co-produced the film in collaboration with Director PJ Davey, financing the project, devising the budget breakdown and sourcing the cast and crew. I also wrote award-winning short screenplay “A Sorry Story” which was made by Box Revolution Ltd.

As director on the short film 'Santa's Grotty' it was greatly beneficial to have Sarahs help in the casting process. She was able to define the qualities of the characters we were casting which made it easier to find the actors who were most suitable for the roles and were likely to work well together.
The script which she had written was a lovely combination of drama, comedy and pathos . It was the balance of these and the relate ability of the story which made me want to direct it from the first time I read it.
