You will see how I cut soothing ambient music to fit perfectly with beautiful footage, emotive slow motion shots, eye-catching titles and high quality sound effects. The overall feel of the video is that the viewer is taken on a voiceless narrative through the aesthetically pleasing visuals of the city.My background:I've been making videos since I was 12 years old with 8mm film cameras. Over the years I have found new ways to draw on different life experiences and artistic influences to become the creative person I am today.
As well as being creative I am also technical savvy. I am a fast learner and I am self-taught in several software packages including Apple's Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and have already reached a competent level in After Effects.
I have developed my approach to learning new digital skills and go by the philosophy of an ex-boss of mine who said "Don't ask what you need to know, ask what you don't understand".
This month (November, 2018) I completed a Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Working in Creative & Design Industries Screen and Media at Creative Process Digital in Brighton, England.Travelling the world with a camera has allowed me to capture all kinds of beautiful footage and try all kinds of different editing approaches. I have a keen interest in the medium of film and I believe that the best work of the great creative filmmakers has influenced my work.I believe I am a very suitable match for your project because I am both creative as well as technically savvy. I am also an actor and English Language Teacher which has given me a variety of transferable skills in the creative arts.
