I was born around midnight in a 1964 Chevy Impala, somewhere on highway 99 between Junction City and Eugene Oregon. As a child I suffered through sound sensitivity and near deafness. Music gave me an anchor in the storm so I was hooked at a very young age. I was drawn to visual things for probably most of the same reasons. One of my earliest memories is traveling in the back of a station wagon on highway 101 along the coast of the Pacific. Because of these things I was drawn like a magnet to the television set. Naturally with so much television I began searching for my name in the end scroll of the film credits. Then came the dreams of working in film. I derive satisfaction from editing that I believe stems from those experiences in my childhood. I find beauty in the abstract and humor in things that people say. I have always been inspired by storytellers and I can watch the same movie many times and still be totally engrossed. I like working with people who like people or at least that do not hate me.
