Imaginative and driven self-shooting Producer / Director with 6+ years of experience working under pressure to deliver high quality programming in factual, obs-doc, entertainment, arts, commercial and online-first formats.

From securing access and locations, to scripting and story development, casting and directing on screen talent or sensitive contributors, to setting up mulit-cam shoots or independently self-shooting, I feel very experienced in building visual stories and adapting quickly on my feet to changing environments and editorial needs.

Having worked in over 60 countries now, I have covered topics as diverse as gang crime to conflict zones, environmental crises to humanitarian emergencies, long-term social issues to mental health, where instantaneous decisions were made based on narrative, safety and compliance. I also have a strong track record in covering arts, music and underground culture within the UK and South Asia.

I particularly enjoy crafting nuanced, character-led and cinematic stories that foster greater empathy and awareness in viewers, while tackling multi-layered themes relevant to contemporary culture. These stories often require collaboration and vast amounts of pre-planning and development, but one of my key strengths is in distilling the emotive and informational core of issues in the moment, to piece together the larger picture.
