I have recently graduated from the National Film and Television School, having completed a diploma in Camera, Sound and Vision Mixing for TV, specialising in Cameras. I received the highest grade, an “Excellent’ and am keen to now start working and continue growing my skills. During my time at the NFTS I filmed a wide variety of Live Entertainment shows, gaining experience working on shows such as music shows, quiz shows, chat shows and comedy sketches. We also covered sporting events such as a Table Tennis tournament and Rugby matches with a OB set-up. During the year we were also given the opportunity to have work placements with both Sky and the BBC, allowing me to gain professional working experience in both live and pre-recorded shows, working on a mixture of multi-camera and single camera productions.I am now looking to gain as much experience as I can and further my knowledge and camera abilities as a Camera Assistant, so I was wondering if you had any advice or potential work experience for me. I enjoy being practical and hands-on, whether it is assisting with a camera or getting stuck in with jobs behind the scenes, such as running cables. Read Less
