Film London has showcased 30 rising stars of film, TV, animation and games with its annual Lodestars.
The London-based talent are selected by a jury of industry experts for their outstanding creativity or craftsmanship, with one winner singled out in each of 10 categories.
Topping the producers list is Becca Wolff, the managing director of Grasp the Nettle Films who recently won a breakthrough award at the British Independent Film Awards for Grand Theft Hamlet.
The category also included Campbell Beaton, whose work spans commercials and 2024 feature film Last Swim; and Oriane Pick, whose BAFTA-nominated company Candid Broads showcases work from underrepresented communities.
The Crew & Industry category was led by British-Japanese film-maker Georgie Yukiko Donovan and also included screenwriter, producer and director Caylan Samuel and BFI senior sales and distribution executive Vicky Brown.
The list also includes categories dedicated to animators, artist filmmakers, directors, exhibitors, games creatives, heads of department, screen heritage talent and writers.
Film London chief executive Adrian Wootton said: “Supporting and championing new, bold and diverse voices and stories, on and behind the camera, is part of Film London’s DNA. I am incredibly excited by the opportunities that await this year’s Lodestars.
"Lodestars is proving to be a true marker of industry – and London - talent, with alumni going on to achieve mainstream attention and critical recognition for their work, all while helping pave the way for others to follow suit.”
