The senior ranks of several indies have undergone a reshuffle this week, with changes at RDF, Zinc Media and Lion TV among others.
Former Shine TV chief Tanya Shaw has resurfaced at Zinc Media, which she will join as managing director in November.
Heading up the company’s labels, which include Blakeway, Films of Record, Brook Lapping, Red Sauce and Supercollider, she inherits many of the responsibilities previously held by Greg Sanderson, who stood down as director of Zinc’s London labels this month.
With Zinc in a growth phase, bolstered by Red Sauce’s 52-hour order for a trio of variants of Channel 5 brand Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun, chief executive will be hoping to harness Shaw’s track record of nurturing global Shine formats such as MasterChef, Hunted and The Island with Bear Grylls.
Meanwhile, a trio of RDF executives have parted ways with the Banijay company. The departures of director of production Katie Brewer-Frankl, finance chief Sarah Burns and talent manager Julia Warning follow that of managing director Jim Allen. RDF is set to appoint Allen’s successor soon.
Elsewhere, Lion TV chief content officer Nick Catliff has stood down from the company he co-founded 25 years ago. He leaves the All3Media-owned Homes Under the Hammer indie in the hands of co-founder Richard Bradley.
Also this week, Susanne Hamilton stood down as head of production at Naked TV to join eOne as senior vice-president of production and operations.
