Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything debuted with a huge $15m opening weekend in the US from only 855 screens, and had more than 2,000 sold-out screenings, according to it's production company A24.

Made in secret over three years, the film is directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. Fielder spent more than a month with the former Theranos founder, her partner Billy Evans and their two young children during her final days before she began her federal prison sentence.

The film has also broken records on Letterboxd and Rotten Tomatoes, where it now holds the top rating on both platforms.

A feature documentary has never been nominated for the Best Picture Oscar (not even Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 that made over $200m at the box office and won the Palme d'Or at Cannes) so it'll be interesting to see if can break through given the amount of hype surrounding it.

It's out in the UK on 20 November.
